difficulty digesting milk proteins? Or, how come that some people have the

enzymes to digest them, and other don't?

+++Hi Helene,

One of the main reasons people today have difficulty digesting milk proteins is

because of low-fat dairy products. Butterfat helps our bodies digest proteins

and other substances in dairy.

The second reason is because people today consume lots of grains and grain

products like cereal, bread, pastries, pasta, etc. which aren't properly

prepared (the old traditional ways) so they still contain enzymes which

interfere with protein digestion.

Thirdly, most people today don't produce adequate stomach acid for protein

digestion.

Also most people today avoid good saturated fats so that means all of the cell's

membranes in the body are weak. Healthy cell membranes must be constructed out

of 50% saturated fat (lung cells require 100% saturated fat), so that means

stomach cells aren't as able to produce acid for protein digestion, and the

pancreas and intestines also are less able to produce digestive enzymes.

Of course toxins also make cell membranes go stiff/rigid, so cells in digestive

system aren't as able to produce substances that digest foods.

Those may not be all of the reasons, but they are a good start.

Cheers, Bee
