Yes, I certainly have heard of the Auto urine

therapy.. It's about as simple as can be..just

carry a jar in your car with you. But seriously

folks, drinking one's own urine is an ancient

and still practiced method of building up the

immune system. I have had it done by a

holistic MD to help with allergy problems. They

take the urine, put it in a centrifuge then inject

it . It worked for me. A person's urine is

perfectly sterile to him. Taking another's urine

is another thing altogether (unless you're some

kind of pervert or something). Drinking the

stuff originated among eastern europeans at

least 200 years ago and is more common

than one might think. My grandfather from

Russia told me about this method to cure

a cold and I thought he was nuts. That was

60 years ago. So now " taking a good pee "

may have a totally different meaning. Maybe

if you took it with a little gin. Best, JR

This might be of interest Marie..

In a health update report that was handed to us from a friend..started out as a gag, but when we read it, it actually begin to make sense. This researcher started out seeking a cure for themselves. They had a serious chronic illness, which had begun very early in life. They had developed degenerative disorders that couldn't be helped by conventional medicines. And thus there ill became threatened to permanently destroy their ability to work, and the other things in life they enjoyed doing. ( The article was written by Martha M. Christy ) She goes on to say the food and chemical allergies also became a huge problem, and interfered with the ability to eat. And the immune system weakened. From the article she was unable to find cure, but the had been on many drugs and medicines, and none were working. She became worse. She even came down with endometriosis, which caused bleeding internal tumors, and had gone under major surgeries. Nothing worked. Then she was introduced to a book about Nature Therapy.

What is her mystery miracle medicine, ( It is Human Urine ) Now she says, " before you scream " I don't believe it." she wants us to consider this. That we by nature believe that urine is undesirable waste. But by the medical community it's 'Liquid Gold'

Urine is known to contain minute amounts of proteins made by the body, including medical important once such as growth hormone and insulin. By this article this summer, a company plans to market its first major urine products called Urokinase, an enzyme that dissolves blood clots and is used to treat victims of heart attacks. There is indeed going to be a market for this ingredient. Even in Switzerland has earned a report, in a million dollar sale. using this body fluid. Pergonal, which is made from human urine hormones. Another urine derivative is Premarin, used for hormone replacement of menopausal, ( which by the way Marie I'm on now ), given to me by my doctor over two years ago. And another the companies will be pushing is the one made of urine called Murine Ear Drops. They're made with urea, synthesized primary solid in urine. ( and when I was a child when any body in the family got an ear-ache, Guess what..We got Urine put back into the ear. If I'm not mistaken I believe she had it taken from ourself. For I remember having to sit-on the potty and urinate into this little cup. Then with an eye-dropper, the warm fluid was placed inside the ear. Now I have no idea if it was harmful or not. But at the time of an thumping ear ache you'd do anything imaginable to stop the pain. ( she might have also heated it with a match under the tin utensil.to make it free of germs )..if there was any.

Today the medical findings on urine are overwhelming. One article states the the blood moves through the kidneys at a rate of 1200ml of blood per minute. Inside the kidneys the blood is continually filtered through a system of minute tubules called 'Nephron which absorbs and sorts out the various constituents of the blood including water, minerals, vitamins, enzymes, salt, antibodies, hormones and hundreds of other elements. The kidney goes through this filtering process in order to maintain the correct balance of every constituent in the blood. A large portion of these elements are reabsorbed back into the bloodstream when needed. But a certain amount of critical blood elements are pooled in the kidney into a liquid which doctors call ( " plasma ultra-filtrate" ) ( that we call urine. This sterile ultra-filtrate, or urine is reabsorbed into the blood and some is emptied from the kidney into the bladder where it is exerted from the body..not because it is toxic, but simply because these element are not needed by the body at the moment.

Urine is essentially filtered blood, contains an almost endless list of critical physiological substances including antibodies, hormones, brain chemicals such as DHEA and Melatonin, proteins of all kinds, enzymes, every vitamin and mineral you can name and hundreds of other compounds.

Doctors have found that when these urine things above mentioned and are reintroduced back into the body through drug compounds, injections, extracts, or sublingual the results are dramatic.

8 Cancer patients were treated with HUD ( human urine ) and immediately after operation. In five cases in this group the cancer had invaded the stomach wall and involved the lymph nodes. the postoperative prognosis for this group was very poor, and their were 3-year survival rate was considered to less than 40%., However following HUD treatments, 3 years passed and 7 out of the 8 patients treated are completely cured and participating in almost their full activities, with no signs of cancer recurrence. ( Treatment of Gastric Cancer HUD, an Anti-genic substance, Obtained from Patients Urine, 1968, Dr. Momoe Soeda, Tokyo,Japan..In 1965, Hanson and Tan Journal of Clinical Investigation reported, has been that urine used as an antibody activity, against several microorganisms including cholera, salmonella, diphtheria, tetanus and polio.

From reports in this article, it is used to be effective for Allergies, Disorders, Smoking cures, Edema, ( water weight gone ), Constipation, has Vitamin Therapy, Conjunctivitis, Fungus,Eczema, Preventive medicine, Prozac Alternative ( wean them from ), Prostate problems,( Fasted on four days taking Urine,) Anti-aging, Poison Ivy, Yeast, ( Sun burn, ( we use Urine when the children & Mel, got a terrible sunburn).. It was recommended by a doctor while we had been on vacation out on an Island. And there was nowhere late at night to buy vinegar to put on. Urine Is used for weight loss, ( I haven;t given this thought until now, but I'm not sure I'd drink it, unless it was pill form )

And this articles says urine is used for those with sinus problems. ( Dr.T.s.DC. Dr J. Plesch, M.D..,PhD, Dr Momoe Soeda M.D. Technical Research and Development Tokyo, HS, New Oreleans LA, WS, Wisconsin, BE, Massachusetts, KL Massachusetts, Dr.JK,New york, TR,Taipe, Twaiwan, SW,California, BMS,California,Dr.CW,North Carolina, DC,New Jersey,UH,Florida, DB,Minnesota, DR.RB,California, LK,Texas,JF,Arison,AQ,Washington

Doctors.. DR.S Burzynski, Ohysiology, Chemistry I Physics Journal, Says most cancer patients show remarkable improvement after only one week of treatment. And another says that it is killing virus, destryoing them,

Urine therapy is something I never heard of before. Somehow, it doesn't

sound good to do though if one has bladder cancer. The tumor sheds cancer

cells and blood. Am I right? I don't understand how that could be good to

drink. It's no longer sterile.

Hi again

This is the first time that i have discussed my hep C with anyone

outside my family & doc. I can tell that from the warm response

that I recieved, you made me feel at ease. Thank you.

I am 44 married 2 years to my 3rd hubby (and the last) have 3

grown children and 3 stepdaughters only 1 lives with us, and 2

lovely grandchildren. I live in Phoenix and spend most of my time

being a p.c potato (ha ha) I crochet blankets and beddolls and

pillow dolls for my family.

I was diagnosed Sept.7, 2000 (nice birthday present huh?) with

chronic active hep C-stage one. After the initial shock, I thank

him and asked him how long I have had it...he told me over 20 years.

I told him that for years I kept getting a high ALT back when I had

blood work done and there wasn't 1 blasted doc that ever took more

tests to find out why it was so high..I asked if that was what made

me so fatigued all these years to where I couldn't hardly get out of

bed and why I had sharp, almost constant pains on my right side? He

said yes, and then i asked what to do next? I already had osteo and

rhumatoid arthritis, asthma, migraines and then he told me I had hep

C..

He made me an appointment with a gastro-intentinologist for the

1st of Jan. 2001..he wanted me to enjoy the holidays before getting

started on anything.. Had my biopsy in Oct. 2000. Talk about scared.

That was me!! All went well till Jan. 2001 when I went back to see

the gastro doc., that's when he told me about all the side effects

of the interferon 2alpha-b with ribiviran..I didn't think I could

give myself the shots 3x's a week, but I did..got most of the side

effects, but tried to sleep through most of them. Well I was on SSI

and got a letter 6 months into the treatments they was cutting me

off. I cried cause I couldn't afford the meds. so I had to stop

taking them..2 months, I got a letter saying I was still covered so

I call my gastro doc, and now he wants to put me on the new meds.

with 1 shot a week..The catch? I have to see a shrink while on it,

so they can see that I am " NOT " suicidal!!! I tried to tell him that

why would i do that when all I want to do is try to live the best I

can?

Oh well, enough of the book and sorry for boring every one out

there..ha ha!!

Thank you for you support, and God willing, we will ALL beat this

nasty bug...

Bless all of you out there...

If I put anyone to sleep, Please forgive me, I like to ramble on

and on...SORRY

Welcome to Stilligans Island and Brent. You will learn a lot

here at this site. I learned more and received more support than I did

from any professionals! Take care, Louise.

Welcome !

Glad you finally made it into the group. If you have to have this disease,

this is the place to be.

Just wanted to make a suggestion - since the wait for enbrel is indefinite

and I'm sure you want to return some normalcy to your life as soon as

possible, ask your doctor about Kineret. It is the newest biologic that has

been released; it works on a different cytokine than Enbrel, but none of us

know which will bring us relief. I was on enbrel from the time it came out

until the shortages made my supply erratic. I switched to Kineret about six

weeks ago and am doing better on it than I did on Enbrel.

We do have choices now and alternatives. If you have to have this disease

(and I certainly wish you didn't),now is the time to have it.

Good luck!

Marcia

Elly!!

How wonderful to hear from you!! I have been meaning

to call you for weeks now, but it seems something is always

going on and when I think of calling again..it's not a good

time.

I always say " when I feel good, I feel like I'm 19, so here

we are " over that hill " so many talk about, but sometimes

feeling like teenagers.

Do you feel 18 now, or is the " dragon " pulling his tricks

and making you suffer??

So, welcome back dear friend!!! There are many new ones,

and they are all sweethearts. (as far as I know from what I

read) I'm not sure you were with us when the dancing under

the full moon started....or have you been to one of the " pity

parties?? " There has been a lot of parties going on since you

have been away. Also there is now a " gift giveaway " for all

members. This is the first month for that.

Love & hugs,

Your forever friend,

You didn't give the address to " your " group.

Many congrats, I'm so happy for you!!! I'm afraid that I wouldn't personally

admiration for those of you who do. You're amazing. Glad that you and baby are

both doing so well! I don't care how cliche it sounds, babies really are

miracles. And I'm glad yours is such a joy!

Congratulations Amy! Wonderful to hear that you are all doing so well.

Hi again

I'm feeling better and stronger every day and cannot explain the joy this

beautiful baby has brought to our lives. She is an absolute angel- she lets

momma and daddy sleep 5 hours at night already! She's eating 3oz every 4

hours

during the day and is just so content to be in my arms. For those of you who

supported us during this terrifying yet wonderful journey, I can't thank you

enough. And to you (I'm sure you know who you are) who said you couldn't care

less if myself or my innocent daughter died during my pregnancy, I thank you

too. You've helped me to realize what an amazing, strong and lucky woman I am

to

have been given such a precious gift that someone like yourself will never

have. I truly pity you for your judgmental and bitter personality and hope

someday you will learn to make the best of your life despite your disability.

Diane, I did a little reading on Di Syndrome- thanks for the link to

the fact sheet. There are things there that made me sit up and take note, but

isnt an absent thymus part of what Di is all about

I always thought that too, but, from new research that is done, it says

absent or nonfunctioning thymus is " common " but not absolute. Just like you can

have Di or 22q11 deletion without heart problems. Those criteria are based

on percentages, I believe it is 26% of kids with Di have tetrology of

falot heart problem for example, but then that means that 74% of kids with

Di do not. Same thing with the thymus. Actually they say now what

differentiates Di from velacardio facial syndrome is the immune component.

Di Syndrome has an immune deficiency component, some times from the thymus

but

also IgG's and IgA' deficiencies too, CVID or hypogammaglobulinemia is part of

it. Absent thymus or TOF is a red flag for Di, but certainly not the

main criteria. And they now know that 10% of kids with Di Syndrome

actually have negative FISH tests for it because they have a micro deletion that

is

too small to calculate with current testing. Of the 180 " anomalies " listed on

the fact sheet for 22q11 deletion/Di Kody has 39, that is considered a

significant amount. Plus, you add in the fact that some of them may not have

emerged yet and some of them he simply hasn't been tested for becasue they

aren't

life threatening he probably has more than 39. And yet his FISH was

inconclusive. His docs think that it is a micro deletion or a transverse

deletion or

possible a displaced deletion (sort of like 22q10, 22q12, 22q11 not in the right

order). You see how much I'm learning in my recent research mode???

LOLOLOL!!! Any questions, just ask me!!! LOL!

Hypogammaglobulinemia, epilepsy, asthma, chronic encopresis, and severe

cognitive regression. Also Mom to Arika age 16, Kaila, age 12, and Sami age 9

(she

happens to also be Dyslexic), and wife/soulmate to for 10 years.

been given such a precious gift that someone like yourself will never have.

I truly pity you for your judgmental and bitter personality and hope someday

you will learn to make the best of your life despite your disability.

I was going to address this off the list but since people might have e-mailed

you privately to ask who this person is, I'll do it here. First off, before

you go around spreading stuff, you might want to make sure your little source

is trustworthy. She lied to me and she has apparently lied to you too. She kept

giving me daily updates about you and your pregnancy in IM's (which she

denies ever doing... another one of her lies. After speaking to her last night,

there just seems like too many to even list) even after I told her to stop. And

yes, it got to the point where I told her I don't care about your private life.

Quite frankly, I've got more important things to worry about than you. She's

making it sound like I told her that I didn't care if you or your baby died.

That's not true. There's a difference between not caring what you do day in and

day out and wanting you dead. Yes, we have our differences but God forbid, if

something did happen to you, I genuinely would have been upset.

You know, I recently took up crocheting and while looking at some patterns

sites online, I saw a cute pair of baby booties that looked easy to make. In all

honesty, I actually thought of making them for Olivia. Thinking you probably

wouldn't accept a gift from me, I scratched the idea.

After talking to her last night, it became pretty apparent she has nothing

better to do than sit around trying to start stuff. She told me stuff you said

about me too. Considering all the lies she's told so far, who knows what of

that was true. She knows we aren't the best of friends and seems to want to pin

us against each other even more. Whatever. I won't give her that satisfaction.

I'm sick of fighting with you. Anyways, best of luck to you and your baby.

Since I'm not sure what part of your message I care to respond to, I won't c &

p everything you said. I don't ever recall talking to you off the list or

outside the mda chat, so I'm not quite sure where we've fought before. I know

of

one incident where I indirectly offended you when I stated that ebonics made

people sound dumb, but that's all. If you didn't say you couldn't care less

if we died, so be it. If you did, so be it too. I talked to my " little

source " 3 times during my pregnancy and I'm not even sure who informed her.

Thanks

for the well wishes, anyway.

Dear Elly,

hi, it's sue #2, I just happened to click on again. i am waiting for

mail. I am here at work. let me say friend, that you are NEVER

forgotten. We love you most dearly!! You were one of the first

people who ever talked to me when I joined several years ago. You

made me feel so welcomed. You are a wonderful and beautiful person.

We miss you very much too, and I am really hoping that we get to meet

next year in person too. It's so wonderful, but I want you to know

that how you feel is most important than worrying about typing. The

pain sounds very bad, and i would not want you to suffer, just to

post. You health and how you feel is most important. You are such a

valuable member here and just know how much we truly care and love

you. I truly understand how you feel and what you are going

through. Know that I love you and I am sending you a huge hug from

here at work. Wish that it was in person though. Be good to

yourself friend.

Love, Sue #2

Dear Elly,

You are in my thoughts so often, and I was so hoping to meet

you in Vegas. So sorry it didn't work out.

I'm happy to hear that you and Cat get to talk sometimes. How

is she doing?

You did just fine typing left handed. I'm also using my left hand,

am I doing okay? (Actually I *am* left handed..lol!) Have you

tried a wrist and hand brace? Years ago I had to wear one

especially on the left hand, sometimes on both. These things

do get better with time. Usually.

That cortisone shot sure didn't last long did it? I used to get a

cortisone shot in the right knee about twice a year for 10 years,

and then had to have it totally replaced. I *love* the " new " knee!

It was replaced in 1998, and I was only " sorry " for the first six weeks.

After that the pain went away, and I feel it is one of the best things I

have ever had done for myself.

We are on our way out...a friend of ours is dying from Cancer, and

we want to go visit with her awhile today. It's about 5 or 6 hours round

trip. Dennis has been looking on the map, and he says he thinks he

can find the hospital. If you never hear from me again, you will know

that we are lost somewhere South of Waupaca, Wisconsin.

How is Bear doing? We have sort of inherited & 's

dog since their divorce. So we have 3 to care for. Yenta, the little

one that is 11.. that someone dumped in the ditch when she was

a wee babe, and then Harley & Jupiter. They are all sweethearts

though, and I'd miss them terribly if they weren't here.

Never forget, I love you dearly Elly,

Tricia

Hi Thea ~ ~ I was never on " moderated status " , or at least I didn't

know if I was. Sometimes it takes awhile to post your messages. I

elected to post my messages at this web site and my posts go

immediately in and I can view what I wrote with a minute or so. You

might want to go to the website and on the left side of the page you

will find a list of highlighted topics, just click on " post " and away

you go. Let us know if, after this approach, you still are having

any more difficulty.

Oh..... and welcome to our group *smiles*
