Alia,

has been on both methotrexate and Enbrel and never had a rash from

either of them. Is Caroline still on an antibiotic? If so, that could also

be the culprit. Have you spoken to her pediatrician about this?

How's she doing these days?

Liz

Re-start Enbrel

Hey everyone... We restarted Caroline Methotrexate and Enbrel this

week after a three week break. She now has a faint rash on her butt,

ankles, and leg. Has anyone else experienced this?? She also got bit

by some Fire Ants this week, but I really don't think they are

related... She is also on 3 ml of Prednisone.

Hope all is well. I haven't had much time to access the board, but I

hope to catch up with everyone soon.

Hi Alia,

How has Caroline been doing since the surgery for tubes? I sure

hope that the dynamic trio of mtx, enbrel and pred does the trick!--

Those pesky fire ants. I remember when we lived in Louisiana and my

son sat in a whole hill of fire ants. He was only two and it took me

a while to reach him. About scared me to death.

Aundrea has always responded to any bug bite (mosquito, fire ant, etc)

with large welts.

Seems like Caroline's rash would more likely be due to the jra though

than the bug bites.

God Bless,

(drea 9 systemic)

-Hi Alia..

Good luck with restarting Carolines MTX and enbrel.. i hope all goes

well and no more sign of any pesky infections.

Not sure about the rash, perhaps some kind of contact dermatitis

from FL, different laundry power perhaps... Are you guys home from

FL. How are you feeling, the knee??? the baby????

Thansk for your concern about the MTX, thankfully I found 5 more

vials so we have enough for 3 months now. Can you believe I got it

at Cub Foods of all places!!!

Hugs Helen and (7,systemic)

Thanks Helen. Her rash is starting to clear up, but not the

blisters. We are hoping it was a fluke. We don't get back until next

week. We are heading to Disney tomorrow. I am sure Caroline is going

to have a blast!

I am glad that you found the MTX. What a fiasco! At least you know

the hospital always has it if you need it.
