Guest guest Posted December 31, 2004 Report Share Posted December 31, 2004 My daughter was diagnosed with JRA last spring and is just having her third flare up. However now she's having terrible abdominal pain and swelling. The gastro-enterologist, neurologist, PCP, hospital..can find nothing internally wrong except to take her off of the Nabumetone anti-inflammatory and see how she does. She got better for a few days but now she's swollen up again and having extreme pain. Do any of your children have abdominal pain with the JRA? I'm scared they are missing something else that might be wrong. It seems that everything hurts her now....knees, ankles, jaws, wrists, and now abdomen!
