Guest guest
Hi , I wont go into the long drawn out details but ever since regaining complete control of symptoms since starting Enbrel Nov 02 has still had wrist issues. We were always told they were old, residual contractions from the active days. One visit it would be the rt then nothing or the lft.Vanderbilt would always ask about exercises. This has been going on for over 2 years and still being asked about exercises.Never has there been a referal to an OT/PT to learn what exercises to do.Hard to do what you dont know. Dr.Lovell at Cincinnati got wind of an e-mail that I sent his nurse and wants x rays of both wrists and both ankles(ankles don't know why) done prior to our next study visit. He also wants to send to OT/PT after the visit to learn some at home exercises. Yipee!Finaly somebody hears me and doesn't think I am a quack.Vanderbilt is 30 miles away and Cincy is 300 miles away.Such a shame but shows why they are ranked 7 in the 10 top childrens hospitals. has no pain but uses his fingertips instead of placeing his flt hand on the floor,he says its " easier " .Duh,it's because you haven't used it properly for so long now.Now I notice the rt hand.Could be just the 7.5mg MTX isn't cutting it but Dr.Lovell will not go into la la land and just dismiss it.The lft wrist looks crapy to an experianced eye.Vanderbilt in Nashville says exercise it. Sorry to have still gotten long, notoriously known for that.Just so happy that we may be able to get to the bottom of this and fix it.
