Nick gets his folic acid 6 days a week.. Hes on 3mg a day. I missed

3 days this week waiting for them to be shipped to us and he already

developed another canker sore. Theres no way I could just give them

1x a week...

At the AJAO Conf. in July, they recommended either daily folic acid

(doses recommended differ, our rheumy says at leat 400 micro grams)

----OR----

no folic acid, but folinic acid 24 hours after mtx. dose id given.

I know that Liz here gives her daughter the once weekly

folinic acid.

As Stacia said, we give leucovorin 5mg (folinic acid). We give it

twice a week~~ the day before and the day after methotrexate. We have been

told that we may also give it the day of methotrexate if needed.

What you are doing, , falls in line with everything we've always been

told.
