The protocol suggested by my daughter, Arden R. Moulin, WHCNP, is that all

ladies have a baseline mammogram done prior to implants, regardless of age.

Then to have a mammogram every 2-years following. Make certain the facility

you are using, knows in advance, that you have breast implants, and can

assure you they will have someone available who knows exactly how to handle

mammograms for a patient with breast implants. If you get a radiologist

doing a mammogram that doesn't seem to know exactly what they are doing,

insist they stop, find someone else, or you reschedule. Do Not Take

Chances! Make certain you keep a copy of each mammogram you ever have,

although it is illegal for any imaging facility to destroy or purge old

mammograms, sometimes they disappear anyway!

Hope this is helpful information.

Blessings,
