Guest guest
Hi - I just finished doing Genevieve's page. I'll critique yours, if you tell me how our looks! You can email me at: maryfield@... Therese Z. Genevieve 10/2/02 Pauci 1/04 Uveitis 1/04 Lexi's website and raising $ for walk in May I was wondering if any of you veterans to arthritis walk fundraising would mind letting me send you Lexi's webpage for our arthritis walk in Colorado to get any feedback on how it looks and who you send it to? (I didn't want to send it over the whole JRA listserv and take up lots of email space!!!!) Also, how do you go about " advertising " your child's website for fundraising? I know nothing about it and don't want people to think I " m too pushy, but I also want to raise some money! You can email me with your offline email if you are willing to look at the site - thanks a bunch! mom to Lexi, 3 with pauci

Guest guest
- When you go to edit your page, it shows a variety of different photos to choose from or you can upload your own. If you have a photo to use, scan or transfer it from a digital camer and save it somewhere on your computer, like in photos or documetns... When you click on browse, you can go to the photo, click on it and then cllick on submit. If that doesn't make sense, ask me again and I'll try to explain it better. I love your note on the main page. Its very sweet. I went through my email address book and sent it out to anyone who knew us well enough to know Genevieve. We receive 2 donations in the first 10 minutes. Good luck. Let me know if you get a photo on there so I can see Lexi!!!! Therese Z. Guest guest
Sounds good - I'm so techno-dumb about these things! Master's degree and 4 children later and sometimes I wonder how my kids can know more about computers than I do!!!!! LOL I don't have a scanner but I do at work so I'll try it though and let you know when there is a photo! Thanks for the tips!
Guest guest
Just a side note about when you scan in a photo to upload to the AF web page for your child....As I recall doing this last year, the file size can't be over 200K or something like that. I had a dickens of a time with my scanner and software getting a file that small. Hopefully, you have an easy time doing it.
Guest guest
Yes! I did have that problem too but I found if I used a photo that was sideways and turned it so it was up and down, it made the size small enough to fit-under 50KB. I don't know why that works but it does. ---- Original Message ----- From: staciar101 Sent: 3/29/2005 10:14:50 PM Subject: Re: Lexi's website and raising $ for walk in May Just a side note about when you scan in a photo to upload to the AF web page for your child....As I recall doing this last year, the file size can't be over 200K or something like that.
