Guest guest
Hey Y'all! Anybody have their children do exercises for arthritis in the hands? My physical therapist suggested silly putty. Any other ideas? The Celebrex helps her a great deal, but on occasion she still gets the achiness.
Guest guest
My daughter has actually gotten thera putty which is 100x's better than silly putty. She also got rapper snappers which she loves and doesn't realized she's " exercising " . We also bought her thumb splits which makes her exercise her hand muscles while coloring. Just a few suggestions. E-mail me if you are interested and I can give you the web site names to get the stuff! Tara and 2 (poly) Exercies for arthritis? Hey Y'all! Guest guest
Tara, Put the web address out there. My daughter has her hands affected. When we went to her hand therapist we actually had some " silly putty " type stuff. We also took dowels will push that into the putty to help with her hands. It did work, but it was also tough to do every day. But I would love to see the web site. and Allie (8 poly) ________________________________ From: Tara [mailto:bambam31900@...] Sent: Friday, November 05, 2004 4:01 PM Subject: Re: Exercies for arthritis? Guest guest
- One site is http://www.theraproducts.com/. This was recommended by 's OT. The thera putty comes in different " strengths " does really well with the green one. The other site is http://www.mckiesplints.com/. Her OT recommended the thumb splint and they really help anytime she colors, writes etc! Hope these help you and anyone else interested! Tara and 2 (poly) Exercies for arthritis? Hey Y'all!
