Guest guest
Hi Alia, You are probably right,it's just getting overwhelming because I don't want to miss anybody.I'm not trying to be pushy I am just a stay at home mom and have the time to try and pull this off.We don't know what each other looks like(s the little 4ft blonde boy with earings in both ears) but we have time to make a plan for meeting at the registration desk at a certain time.We can always hold a sighn saying JRA list, lol. When Ellie asked me how many it could be and I started counting 30 or more, panic mode hit.Can you see us all walking into a resteraunt and saying party of 30,lol.They would be in panic mode.Thats why I had the idea of making a reservation at one of the casual dining resteraunts at the resort,so they would be ready for us and see if they would be willing or able to accomadate us all. Some places are willing to take reservations well in advance and others aren't willing to do it at all.My head hurts, lol We will make this work somehow some way.Even if we all don't get together Fri,Sat is fun family carnival night. hugs Becki

However, on the plus side, I should be in NC at the beach:) Hopefully, breathing better by then. Have developed atelectasis from the gallbladder surgery. Now the doctor is concerned about pleurisy (sp?). I just DON'T want to go back to the hospital! I hope you all have a safe and happy journey. Have some fun for me:) Enjoy. Guest guest
Hi Beck, There is a Bucco Di Beppo in old town and they cater to really large parties. I'm not sure if you are familiar with the chain but they have great Italian food and they bring out huge platters of entrees and sides so everyone can share. I will check and see if there is a website. Just a suggestion. xoxo, Ellie and Riley 6 poly
Guest guest
Well I have to agree California is a lot of fun!! Especially the bay area. The weather is perfect. Never to cold and rarely to hot. Plus its the home of the Giants!!! San Ramon is about 43 minutes away from where I live.. give or take.. back in the day when I wanted to be an actress my acting coach was out there... I'm not a big fan of flying either.. If San Deigo wasn't so far (7 hour drive) I'd probably drive out for the night to see everyone.. But I have to be to Oroville which is 3 hours north of SF.. which is way to far of a drive from San Deigo on Saturday at 11.. so maybe the next time around. Guest guest
Becki - You are soo funny!! My mother will be there, but I am not sure if she will be joining us for dinner or not. I guess you could count her in and then see how it goes. The hotel would be awesome, but will it already be too full with all the other people there? We would be up for taking the rail downtown and eat.. But, we are pretty open! Alia and Caroline, age 2, poly and uveitis -----Original Message-----From: Arthurnator@... Guest guest
We’ll definitely be at the conference, but aren’t sure about Friday night yet. Steve has several college classmates in the San Diego area and we’re supposed to get together either Thursday or Friday night. I’ll let you know as soon as I can. Guest guest
Hey Becki... I totally want to get together. I was just worried that the hotel would be too crowded because of everyone being there... But, I am sure they are prepared for that!! LOL!!! I was looking on thier website and it looks like there are two restaurants that would be good for us within the hotel - Terrace Cafe - totally casual or Charlie's Bar and Grill which features typical grill food and has video games and pool tables for the kid (or husbands!). There are two others, but they look kind of spendy! Let me know if I can do anything else to help! Alia -----Original Message-----From: Arthurnator@... Guest guest
Really? I guess I didn't realize. He was very excited to go - my bro is taking him salmon fishing today and its Chris' first time - to fish and out on the ocean. This was also Chris' first time to fly - he was nervous (he has a real fear of heights) but did ok. He was out there 2 years ago with my parents and he loves California. He would love to live with his aunt and uncle! Michele -----Original Message-----From: bncknwurnumber@... Guest guest
Yes Robbin, you do not have to eat anything you do not want. Most of the time the meals are not worthy of bragging but there is always afterwards and many folks head out for a second dinner. As for alcohol not sure if the restraunt serves it but bet they do. cant wait!!!!Donna
