Hi Helen,

I was so excited to read the good news about . Makes me very

happy for you. I know exactly what you mean about the mornings being

hard and the fatigue being such a big part of this disease. It can be so

awful at times. I used to worry that might be missing out on so

much of his childhood, as he slept and rested so much compared to others

his age! But when he slept he wasn't in pain ... so it was a good thing

too. These days, he is so vibrant and full of energy. Making up for lost

time, it seems! Friday he sees his rheumatologist and I'll ask about his

last labs. There was some concern two months ago about his hemoglobin

being low (again!) but in the past that made him very fatigued and we

haven't been noticing that lately.

I hope the busier schedule, with summer school classes, will be

manageable and work out okay for Nick. I'm just so glad that he's

enjoying the summer. One day at a time, right?

Aloha,

Georgina

Hi Helen:

Congrats on the great labs:) It's so nice not to see those nasty little

asterisks next to so many eh:)

Good luck on the summer school. I bet Nick is glad it's only four weeks.

Hope he sails through it.

Take care.
