Guest guest
- You are going to drive yourself crazy with all this information. Sometimes the internet can be too dangerous! haha! Alia and Caroline, age 2, poly and uveitis I found what I was talking about.. " It's impossible to make a diagnosis on information over the internet, but the most likely answer is reactive arthritis. There is no such thing as pauciarticular arthtritis in teenagers. That is a spondyloarthropathy which is closely related to reactive arthritis. -Dr. Lehman " Is that true? Guest guest
I don't know - was diagnosed at 13 with pauciarticular in his ankles. He does have more symptoms that are spondy related, with his back, now his knuckles on his hands, the lower back, that may be what the dr is saying - as kids get older they show more symptoms that go with spondy rather than the joint pain of pauci. Chris' ankles have really improved compared to the other symptoms, to the point where they don't really bother him all that much. However when he is given the script for blood work, in diagnosis the dr puts JRA most of the time, sometimes spondy. I am going to read the article myself and see what I think. You said in JRAWorld right? Thanks for the info, Michele I found what I was talking about..
