Guest guest
Jackie, Is there any way you can get in touch with Dr. Priscilla Slagle, who wrote that article about glutamine? I have a question for her, or any other doc or someone knowledgeable in the healthcare area. I have antibodies to smooth and skeletal muscle. This has been repeated time and time again with lab tests. Why do I have these antibodies, and would glutamine help? My body is essentially attacking these 2 muscles--now all I need is to develop antibodies to cardiac muscle!!! I have only had this test result since 1998 when the first test was done, and after I'd had my saline implants in for 18 months. Also, I have a long history of severe depression, which my doc also feels has a bipolar II component to it. It was only when I was taking Wellbutrin and something else that I was more hyper. I have never had a true manic episode, but while I was on the Wellbutrin, I was much more hyper. But then I have always been "hyper," even as a kid. I always moved, talked, walked, and drove fast. I have "calmed down" quite a bit in the last few yrs. Would taking glutamine have an adverse effect on me? I'm real curious to know the above, and whether glutamine would or wouldn't be beneficial for me at some point down the road. Sincerely, e, RN, BSN, LNC
Guest guest
e you have raised some excellent questions and I think going directly to the source would be the best way to get the most accurate answer. Email her at pslagle@... I'm sure she'd be happy to answer your questions or at least stear you in the right direction. Good luck! Jackie ----- Original Message ----- From: cvrn8@...
