Guest guest
Patty: Any results yet on the strep culture?I am SO GLAD that Caitlin is doing so very well. I hope that she STAYS that way!! Nope, Rob's spring break was 2 weeks ago, when we went to Florida. He is still flaring a bit. We went walking around our back yard last night (we have 3 acres) and he was having a hard time getting up the hill. But otherwise, not doing too badly. and Rob 14 Spondy On Sun, 4 Apr 2004 15:57:51 EDT Emeraldsx3@... writes: In a message dated 4/3/04 9:41:50 PM Eastern Daylight Time, snooksmama@... writes:<< Keeping fingers and toes crossed that Alyssa doesn't have strep...How is she feeling now? How is Caitlin doing tonight? and Rob 14 Spondy >>Hi :Thank you for crossing everything LOL:) Quick test was negative, hoping and praying Monday's culture shows no growth too. I never thought I'd worry about strep, but I have learned way to much about it and it's a bad bacteria! Throat is feeling better, but still looks irritated. Hoping it's just post nasal drip causing it. Caitlin is doing great:) She is at a neighbor's house right now. Starting to think we can stop the Folic Acid here too. How's Mr. Rob? Are you all on spring break this week? We are and looking forward to doing, well, nothing LOL, not a darn thing planned so we can 'play' every day if we wish:) Take care.Patty

They didn't have them yet (said they grow them over 72 hours) and to call today around 3:00. Although, now the symptoms are in full force and I think it's a cold or allergies. A lot of sneezing, coughing and nose blowing going on. I guess having them grow for 72 is more definitive than 24, but I sure would like to know already! bug continues (knock knock knock) to do awesome:) It would seem that a lot of people don't get the JRA dx until a second flare:( Have you heard this to be true? I am jealous, you have three acres - AWESOME. Alyssa would love to have that, she is desperate for horses LOL. Looking into a farm that takes volunteers in the 9th grade so, maybe, this summer she can help as she's entering the 9th grade this fall:) She wants to be a veterinarian (she could treat our animals alone and be well off LOL) and specialize in equine care. I am glad Rob is doing a bit better, but sorry he is still in the midst of a flare:( Is he nervous about the lab results? You said he is in the 9th or 10th grade? Take care. Guest guest
Patty:Don't you feel like all we do is wait? Wait for this appointment, or that test, or the results from this or that test....I had very little patience before all this began, and I am learning what an asset patience can be!! I am so glad that Caitlin is doing so well!!! Rob isn't nervous about the lab results...I haven't told him they were looking for anything new. It is very likely to be negative, so why worry him? We'll cross that bridge if and when we come to it. He's not feeling too well this morning...knees are bothering him. Off to school though, my little trooper. He is in the 9th grade. Guest guest
Hi : Yes, I do feel like we wait all the time. Glad to hear that Rob isn't nervous about the labs. Makes sense not to tell him that they were looking for something new. Like you said 'why worry him'. Hope he feels better this afternoon. Take care.
