Hi Sara!

Donna here and regarding surgery and the decision as to when is easy for me. As single mother to 2 and as someone who has complications being put under I always wait it out and use surgery as a very last resort. For many this is not the case and more practical issues come into the picture. I truly think this is a personal decision one should make and make it according to your life/lifestyle and yes according to the pain and issues of mobility..I am guilty of waiting and waiting and just recently resorted to getting a brace/ shoe combo (forrest gump style) for my ankle in an effort to avoid surgery...dont let the kids read...however, it is still in my closet and other than a door prop it makes for a good weapon...LOL....actually I am more uncomfortable with it on so have not used it. I know shame on me but its a comfort issues...anyway...Good luck to ya..

Hugs and smiles...Donna

Thanks, Donna! I'm sorry you have those complications. I've had surgeries

before but it was when I was littler and my parents had alot to do with

helping me decide when, etc. I know what you mean about the orthitics--very

attractive aren't they? :).
