I would think that subject would have been better coming from the office setting, from the rheumy or even better a nurse.I'm sure they evem have AF pamphelts on MTX and pregnancy.

Try and let it go even though it wasn't very professional.

No one has ever gone over these risks with me or has talked to me

about sexuality or the risks of pregnancy. I did my own research.

Perhaps they told my paretns. I find it very odd.

I remember when I went on mtx when I was about 19 the rheumy made a big deal

about sending my dad out of the office (parents can be a big help in

answering questions I don't know the answers to like what meds I was on when

I was little, so I had asked him to come with me) and telling me all about

the dangers of mtx and pregnancy and how I should go off it it I planned to

get pregnant. It seemed like a lot of drama, but I suppose he had to go

over all that.
