Guest guest
Hi Val, I hope the calculator days will be in your future soon. It's got to be such a double edged sword having a drug that works so well but can also be so eratic in the system.I wish it was like MTX and you could give it as a shot and know that Robbie is absorbing the exact dose he should be. Much love Becki and 5 systemic
Guest guest
Hi again Becki! Hey! I got my 400+ messages down to 54!!!! Of course, I didn't respond to nearly as many as I would have - thinking they were already old, so by the time I got to 200, I started skimming them more, looking for the gist of the message and looking for keywords! I hope to be pulling the calculator out soon too! I wish the steriods were more like MTX too! Reading your post I was thinking how much money we could donate to the Foundation if we had a nickel for everytime we said/wrote " i wish " . Have a great evening - gotta run and pick up my little guy! Guest guest
Hi Val, I was talking about the Cyclosporine being eratic. From what you have posted they are monitoring the levels better so hopefuly the theraputic level doesn't get to low for the small steroid dose. Make a fist and have Robbie make a fist and gently tap each other and say thats from Dave. It's a male bonding thing, lol Hugs Becki
Guest guest
Hi Becki, You're right - the Cyclosporine is erratic - even a drop in the steriods can change the metabolism of the cyclosporine. The steriods are actually pretty steady I guess, it's the drops in steriods that are shaky as far as Rob is concerned! Rob will get a kick out of the " male bonding " fist - will do that when I pick him up today! Hope you guys are having a good one!
