Hi guys...

Im having problems finding anything online about C-reactive protein values... Does anyone know what "normal is" ??

I just heard from Nicks doctor and his sed was at 45 and she said his c-reactive protein was high at 8.11 ( at least, I think thats what she said), His Iron is also low which she says goes along with the inflamation. Whats the difference between sed and CRP????

She also wants to slow down on the prednisone taper.. instead of going from 2x 5 a day to 1x5 a day she wants instead to do 1x5 in AM and 1x2.5 in PM. We talked about the MTX giving Nick a stomach ache and sick feeling and shes talking about adding another medication to cut down on the stomach upsets. I told her we would wait to see what happens this sunday. IM not too keen on adding another pill to the list. Im beginning to get quite a bit of resistance from Nick about pill taking in general.
