Guest guest
My daughter hasn't had any joint injections , but there are people here who will chime in. We had considered it for n, but then the pain left in that particular joint. How is your daughter handling the diagnosis of systemic? My daughter will be 15 next month. She has had systemic for four years. Good luck. (n, almost 15, systemic) Steriods Injection for Systemic Onset JRA.......... Guest guest
--I dont have RA, but I have had steriod shots in my wrists. ive had 6 shots, 3 in each wrist ( following a work injury to both wrists) I was very nervous, but I didnt feel the shot at all, ive had worse vacinations. But they did hurt like H%^ & for 48 hours following the injections. They did bring me total relief for about 3-4 weeks at a time, But you cant have too many shots and they are not a cure, just a temp help. Not much help huh!!!, but i wanted to let you know that they really dont hurt having them. Well mine didnt.
