Guest guest
Taping classes is commonly done in college and believe me a wonderful thing. I wore not one but two cassette recorders out before graduating in May and needless to say some of those lecture tapes are great for insomniacs...lol.. I highly recommend the investment! Guest guest
Thanks, e. I'm going to talk to about this (when he wakes up) and see if he feels good about it. Can't hurt and might very well help, right? Aloha, Georgina bound for london wrote: > Hi Georgina, > > We have not done that but I used to do it in college all of the time. > It was quite common. Guest guest
Hi Georgina! In s school, they send home a note stating that there is a child that needs to tape the class do to physical limitations and would it be okay to record any questions that the child has? The teachers know not to state names with grades for privacy issues....however, if they slip never says anything until class is over. It is similar to the can we print your childs name photo etc in the newsletter or give to the newspaper and publish. We used the voice activated small Dictaphone kinda thing..I got it at Sams. Does this help? Carol

Guest guest
Hi, Thanks so much, for all your feedback about the taping of lectures. is still a bit 'iffy' about it. Nobody else in any of his classes does it. He doesn't want to stand out, even when it might be a very good thing. I think I'll talk to his school counselor about it, see what she thinks. Math and Science, there wouldn't be a need. PE either, of course. I'm thinking specifically of his new social studies course, a Hawaiian Studies class he just started this semester, where they don't have/use a textbook. He says it's mostly all lectures and activities. We'll see how it goes first, I guess. And thanks for all of your positive thoughts. You're right. has come a long way. It took a long time and a lot of patience but things have quieted down ... substantially. Thanks, Everyone. Aloha, Georgina Helen Burger wrote: > > > Georgina.. I think its wonderful idea.... Guest guest
Hey Georgina maybe Josh could just develop his own self form of short hand..to make it eaier to keep up with notes during the lectures.
