Guest guest
Hi Bee, What is the best oil to fry? I have not found lard yet, and I don't want to use my entire container of coconut oil to fry. What other easily available oil can I use to fry foods i.e. chicken? Many thanks! Guest guest
Hi Bee, Is the oil that comes from chicken, lamb or beef broth good to save for frying? Once the broth cools in the refrigerator there's a nice inch or so of oil that solidifies. Years ago woman would save their melted chicken fat and use that. It would come when they would make cracklins....fry the skin of chickens until it's crunchy. A bunch of fat is left over. Do you do this or recommend it Bee?
