Guest guest
> > Hello, > > I have been on the program for more than a month now, and I just wanted to reach out for a little advice/encouragement. I feel like the first two weeks that I started, I was very satisfied and lost weight, and was energetic. Then I started breaking out with lots of acne that I don't normally get, rashes from previous illnesses, lethargy, irritability, constipation, the list goes on. The acne and rashes have mostly gone, but I still don't feel like I'm getting better, but I'm getting worse. +++Hi Olive. Welcome to our group. All of your symptoms are normal to get when you are on this healthy program, because that's how the body heals and detoxifies itself naturally. In fact all dis-ease processes are exactly the same as the healing and detoxifying processes created by the body itself in an effort to maintain its health in spite of poor nutrition, toxins, etc. The only difference for people on this healthy program is they are now progressing towards health rather than becoming more and more unhealthy, or dis-eased, because they are giving their body what it needs to " be healthy " according to Nature's Laws on Health. The medical field labels each and every " sign " of poor health as separate dis-eases, illnesses, symptoms, etc. However all of them are simply " signs " the body is working hard at maintaining its health, so all of those " signs " are actually normal body reactions and processes. Also while your body is healing it will retrace all previous illnesses, diseases, symptoms, injuries, etc. since it now has the nutrients it needs to do its job - see this article that explains what retracing is: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal10.php >>> I have gained all that weight I lost plus some, and feel so very hungry! I used to feel satisfied after my meals, but lately they are just not cutting it for me. I could eat one pound of meat or more in a meal easily, and that (i think I'm calculating on fit-day correctly) is way more than my 5'3 " body needs, as I am eating at least 6 eggs a day plus usually 5 tbsp or more coconut oil and the same of butter, or ghee. I eat some " allowed " veggies but always cook them alot. I just feel like I am getting too much protein, which is leading to constipation, but I eat lots of fats too, so I don't know. BTW, It's hard for me to use fit-day since I don't have consistent internet access, and so although it'd be wise to record it all by hand, I just haven't had the motivation to do so, and I figure that at least I am not eating any sugars! +++Here's the reason that people can gain weight on this program: 1) Not following the diet accurately, i.e. cheating too much and/or consuming too many carbs. 2) Not taking all of the supplements in the correct amounts or taking the wrong kinds. 3) Taking other supplements not on this program. 4) Taking hormones like birth control pills, or others for adrenals, thyroid, etc. 5) Taking drugs. 6) Has taken hormones in the past which takes time for their bodies to get rid of and hormones greatly influence weight. 7) Have had weight issues in the past which their bodies will retrace during the healing processes. Of course weight is the least of your problems when you are so unhealthy, so it is important to get healthy rather than to focus on your weight. +++It is normal to feel very hungry when you first start on this program because your body is making a lot of changes, and you are withdrawing many things you were probably addicted to. This will pass as you continue. > > I'm sure that I went on the diet too fast, but I though it'd be fine, since I already ate lots of coconut oil anyways, and hadn't eaten gluten for 2 years. It was a pretty easy transition. > > Anyways, I broke down for the first time the other night and had a few tablespoons of peanut butter with honey on it. now I feel like crap, and that I wasted so much effort because when I was reading on the Threelac page (before I started the diet) it said that one time of eating sugars ruins the diet, and you're back to square one. I can't imagine this is completely true but what do you think? +++No, you are not back to Square One, since all of the good nutrients you have been consuming are still helping your body. > +++Please ensure you read two important articles: How to Successfully Overcome Candida: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro2.php Curing Candida, How to Get Started: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php For encouragement and inspiration see these wonderful Success Stories by members of this group: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/index.php The best in health, Bee
