Toddler gets chapped around the mouth

Hi Bee and others,

When I give my toddler the electolyte drink and saurkrout she gets red around

the mouth where the acid touches. It stays red for days and is very chapped.

It's sad and disappointing because I want her to have the lemon drink to help

clean her blood.

Any ideas for helping with this or is acid hard on children?
