Guest guest
Hi, I could write a story on various symptoms I have, but to make it easier for you guys to read I will just write it in point form. - I have been having a problem of alternating constipation and diarrhea (mostly constipation) for the past 3,4 years. - This was fixed for sometime (at least the constipation even though the feces were a little bit softer) when I just gave up on organic meats and veggies and carbs after being stressed out so much with everything going on in my life and went crazy on junk foods and major amount of breads and pastas (even though they were organic) for about 5 months. This obviously encouraged my candida overgrowth. - I was eating a " balanced " diet with organic meats and carbs before this crisis of junk food eating. Some breads, steamed veggies moderately cooked meats with about 6-8 tbsp of extra virgin coconut oil and olive oil a day (ratios vary). - After I screwed up with my diet and felt worse afterwards Itold myself that I can't continue this forever (except my bowel movement was pretty regular, amazingly)and I went on a raw diet for like 2weeks which did not work out for me with having no good juicer and not being able to eat enough to satisfy myself since I wasn't able to eat fruits at all (obviously). - Then I stumbled upon your site, sorta jumped into it thinking I was able to tolerate all the fat since I was eating a lot anyways in the past. But that thought really made me in a bad situation I believe... -Here are examples of my first day of your diet (optimal diet) and few other examples on other days: My recommended intake ratio: Protein 71g Fat 174~250g Carb56g First day: Fat160g/Protein119g/Carb70g Example 2: Fat 165g/Carb43g/Protein 202g Example 3: Fat295g/Carb31g/Protein 166g Example 4:Fat 240g/Carb30g/Protein 135g Latest day: Fat236g/Carb14g/Protein71g As you can notice I have adjusted to my optimal diet(since 2 days ago), so I hope this is going to help, but I'm still not sure if I should be continuing like this. I was being disobedient cause I only way 56~58kg or so, but need to eat a lot in order to not feel hungry to a point where I am disturbed at night and can't go to sleep. -When I have the most severe constipation clear water enemas don't even work. I even retained it for 20mins, but just water comes out and no feces. Don't have a major urge " to go " either. Feels like my body is holding onto it or stuck somewhere. Overall when this constipation happens I loose energy to think or move. - On a worse day, I am sleepy and tired and exhausted through out the whole day. To a point I need to lie down in bed all day, which is happening quite often, recently. -I am eating 3tbsp CO, 6tbsp olive oils and 6~8tbsp ghee right now and fully on supplements. -It's been a months since I've been on this program Questions to sum up my post. Q1 Should I still be doing clear water enemas, occasionally even though it's not working too well? I've done 3 so far (every 5 to 6 days). Q2 Should I continue on my adjusted optimal diet (ratio) and hang in tight until these symptoms relieve? Or do you think I should bring back some carbs into my diet and slow things or take things back a bit and see what happens? If anything, the foods I'll bring back will be nut butters or something that won't feed candida too much. Even though I know I can't make things faster to heal myself, I sure don't want to slow things down too much. Q3 Do you think it's a good idea to go on the 9 day program? If so, is it safe to make bone broth with my old stainless steel pot? Magnet does stick on it, but has a black burn stain at the bottom of the pot, which I don't know how to get rid of, since it's really old. Q4 Do you think I should also decrease my fat intake? I guess I misunderstood how you were saying I could get constipated from eating too much protein to my fat ratio and just increased my fat a lot not thinking about the healing reactions. Q5 Is it possible my healing process will stop from continuing my optimal diet or since it's been a months now, should I just continue and bare with the reactions? I am not sure if my symptoms are from healing reactions or I am just messing things up. If I need to go back to my previous " balanced diet " I guess I will. I was over-confident about I how much I could take. Sorry for the super long message, but I need a well-covered detailed advice from you guys so I can happily be on this program without worries .
