Guest guest
Hi Ed, I remember reading some of your comments in a previous post about weight training and I'd like to get more information about the subject. When I am fully healed I would like to start a strength training program. I'm not trying to become a bodybuilder, I'd just like to add some muscle and strength. I'm interested in lifting weights about 2 days a week using heavy weights. I'm 6'3 " and I weigh 180 pounds. I'd like to put on 20 pounds over the long term. Is this a healthy goal and is weight lifting good for the body? Do you have any books or websites that I can check out for more info? Also, I plan to continue with the all meat and fat way of eating so I'm wondering do I need to eat carbs for recovery after weight lifting? Thanks a lot for your time.
