He expected the level to be below normal but instead of it being " 2 " it was " 32 " . The only explanation he was given by the " experts " at the Pathology Lab was that it was due to the high level of physical stress (not emotional stress)_in my body He told me that a lot of research is being done in the U.S.A. and the U.K. because it is thought to be the cause of a lot of health issues. > > I am wondering if you know anything about this hormone. Normally, leptin's function is to reduce appetite and induce fat burning (among many other functions). That is what high leptin signaling in a brain would do. However, high leptin means there is low leptin signaling to some parts of the brain while other parts of the brain get the full high signal. In other words, some of the brain only hears a whisper while other parts (of the brain and periphery) get screamed at. Evidently fruits are one of the worst foods that cause leptin resistance, along with a high-carb diet that lacks all of the fats necessary for proper hormone production, which includes cod liver oil (omega 3, vitamins A & D), vitamin E, and good saturated fats like butter, coconut oil, etc. This program is low-carb, moderate protein and high good fats in proper combinations, which corrects all nutrient and hormone levels and imbalances. That is because it rebuild all of the body's cell so they are healthy and can function like they should. Of course physical stress can play a role but it isn't the only reason your leptin levels are high. I recommend you not only do this program, but also do regular deep breathing exercises to make your body switch over from running on its fight/flight nervous system: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/breath4.php Also take Epsom salt baths and do coffee enemas to help your body detoxify and relax.
