Dear Reen,

I just want to offer a hand of support... it seems to me that you

blame yourself far too much and are fearing 'the worst'. You *have*

learned from your mistakes. This is not an easy program (if the

cravings come) and certainly choosing what is fast or slow in terms

of getting to the 'strict' program. Please don't keep blaming

yourself for eating some pasta or Ezekiel bread!

Look at me: I felt incredibly better when I finally gave up beans

and nuts, and went four months of clean eating before I had a

terrible craving for popcorn. I didn't eat a small amount but a

giant bowl! I paid the price, but the discomfort only lasted a

couple of days. It was a great impetus to get back on the horse, so

to speak.

Of course you want to heal quickly -- who doesn't? Your body will

heal at the rate it can. Your positive thinking about it will help a Lot.

I wish you well, Reen,

Jude

I don't even have the urge to go, but feel bloated and heavy and tired pretty

much all day.

+++Hi Reen. Slower bowel movements are normal to have on this program, and that

is healthier too, since it allows time for digestion to pull nutrients out of

foods. You won't have much urge to go, so you need to set aside time every

morning to allow your bowels to move. It is normal to feel bloated, heavy and

tired on this program too since they are normal detoxifying reactions.

screwed up with eating pasta and bread and almond butter to backtrack my diet.

I only see you've suggested the good carbs for backtracking such as brown rice,

millet and buckwheat and buckwheat pancake for most people who went on the

program too fast, which I found out later.

>

I got laryngopharyngeal acid reflux which was pretty settled until I went off to

backtrack my diet. Would the keep on going idea be bad? Would I just have

severe detox symptoms and as time passes by I'll heal or would the healing

process slow or stop at the worst if I keep on going? How much should I lower

my fat intake? To my lowest? Can I keep my protein intake the same? Should I

just add a touch of carbs or a lot? Sorry to ask so many questions at once...

+++Yes, you can keep going. Your body may take a little bit longer to adjust

itself to the fast change in diet, but in the long-run you will do okay. In

that case, don't lower your fat or your protein, and just keep trucking.

+++Question? Did you ever had constipation before starting on this program?

I guess I'm back to square one from making so much mistakes..sigh...

+++You are definitely not back to square one my friend.

+++Reen, you didn't waste a month at all since you have been getting proper

nutrients during that month. It's just that you said you had constipation, but

now it appears you don't, and instead have slow bowels, so that changes the

picture.

+++You can have some Ezekiel bread or buckwheat for a couple of weeks and then

slowly get off them too.

Wow, first I need to thank Bee and Jude for dropping a ton of hope on me. I was

quite depressed for making mistakes, but what you two have said really gave me a

light of hope.

> +++Question? Did you ever had constipation before starting on this program?

Ans: I think I stated on my previous post, but I mention it again anyways: yes

I've had terrible constipation and diarrhea in the past 3,4 years. I was a bit

better with constipation since a year ago, but came back when I went on this

diet, so I just thought I went on this program too fast.

nutrients during that month. It's just that you said you had constipation, but

Comment: Well, yes I do seem to have slow bowel movement, but at the same time,

when I go, the feces are usually thin and soft and somewhat hard to get out or

sometimes diarrhea softness (sorry to get a little graphic). I don't have the

urge to go so, I don't know when to go, but reading your advice it seems like I

need to sit down on the toilet seat and teach my bowel to move for a little

while.

I guess I went the hard way in, but at least I don't have to drastically change

my diet back. I just add few breads and pancakes for couple weeks or so and

take a week to eliminate them. I keep on going and bare with my healing

reactions. I have few spots of huge acne..or inflammation on my buttocks too if

that gives you any hint if I should go super slow or keep on going as you said

on the most recent response.

Well, right now I'll do my best to keep on going and experiment for a while as I

stay on this program. I have couple other questions I want to ask, but I do

those on a separate post:). Thanks a lot, can't thank you enough. Will

definitely payback, somehow.

I've had terrible constipation and diarrhea in the past 3,4 years. I was a bit

better with constipation since a year ago, but came back when I went on this

diet, so I just thought I went on this program too fast.

+++Hi Reen. Since you've had constipation and diarrhea before starting on this

program your body will be retracing it while it is healing itself, just like it

retraces all past illnesses, diseases, symptoms, injuries, organ malfunctions,

etc. as explained in this article:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal10.php

+++I've discovered that when your body is retracing there isn't anything you can

do, or should do, to stop it, since your body has to go through that process in

order to heal itself.

+++My brother is 63 years old and he's a good example of retracing past

diseases. He had Crohn's Disease (diarrhea and inflammation of the bowel) for

over 20 years when he started on my program. Since natural healing takes 1

month for every year you've been unhealthy he continued to have diarrhea for

another 20 months on my program when it finally stopped.

+++So the best advice is to follow the program faithfully and consistently and

your body will do its job!

+++Yes, do take time every day to sit down and give your bowels a chance. Also

stresses, physical and mental, can interfere with the normal movements of the

bowel, which makes your body run on its fight/flight nervous system. Therefore

I recommend doing deep breathing exercises, particularly when you notice one of

the reactions that running on that system causes, which are listed in this

article:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/breath4.php

+++If would help a lot to do deep breathing when you sit down to allow your

bowels to move too.

+++You should do okay. Acne and inflammation are caused by toxins coming out,

so that will improve as you progress on this program.
