Gut damage and malabsorption

Bee, B Symes (aka DogtorJ) reckons that it can take between 6 months and 2

years for the gut to heal and start absorbing properly when there has been

damage to the small intestine.

As my body had reached the point where the gut damage was so bad that I was

showing the more extreme evidence of 'Celiac Disease', that may be the reason

why I still have not yet experienced a niacin flush after nearly 8 months on the

diet, and why healing has been fairly slow so far.

Things are improving but it still doesn't take much to trigger stomach issues -

I cannot take even the slightest HCL at present as I get a burning feeling in my

back which may be an ulcer, so I am using sauerkraut and ACV instead to help

with digestion.

It is slow, probably due to the lack of acid, but I daren't raise it any more at

the moment. I still suspect Helicobacter as a protagonist and am throwing

compliant spices and things at it to try and get it under control and help the

'ulcer'. Whilst other things are improving, this has been the most stubborn.

Ali.
