Guest guest
Also great for breakfast!! I seem to prefer the food choices most people call lunch and dinner meals at any of the 6 meals. My breakfast is often instant...left overs from the big batch. M.
Guest guest
Me too . Even as a kid I never understood why certain foods have to be eaten only certain times of the day! Left overs are great for breakfast! Often, the flavors have gotten better overnight!
Guest guest
Along with the butter you could sprinkle Italian seasonings: oregano, basil, garlic, whatever you like. Or you could add some sweeter along with the butter and pumpkin pie spices like cinnamon, allspice, etc. Cheryl
Guest guest
I often eat it with olive oil, salt & pepper. I also tried the spagetti squash casserole in NT & thought it was awesome. However, if you're counting carbs, it's relatively low - I mean, >you can probably eat a full cup of it - maybe even more depending on your Spaghetti squash is the only winter squash that is more like zuchini and the summer squashes. Guest guest
I got a headache recently after eating baked spaghetti squash from the farmers market - a headache which lasted until the next morning even, and I'd been headache free for weeks. It was the same kind of headache I used to get after eating some sweets like cookies. Coincidence? Or is it something about the squash. Not so sure I'll be making the squash pie for Thanksgiving after all. Bummer. Have other folks had a not-so-great reaction to spaghetti squash? Maybe it's a carb thing. Guest guest
I've been wondering about it, because my little 3yo eats it every day and would eat it by the plateful if I let her, AND she's recently put on about 4-5 lbs, which for a 30 lb child is a LOT of weight in a short amount of time. / Hm... / > 's away until tomorrow afternoon and we have a hopelessly clogged > kitchen sink.
