Guest guest
Go to Tricia's website. www.geocities.com/tricia_810/mgb/mgbpics.html Then find the spot where it says " add your name here " and click on that. You have to scan your pictures and attach them to your email to Tricia. If you can't do that then you need to snail mail them to her. Email Tricia there and I'm sure she will get right back to you with her snail mail address. Can't wait to see your pictures! Guest guest
yes having similiar problem here. I'm very edgy. I do take meds for it thank goodness or I'd be worse. My family doesn't take Hep C very serious. They don't realize it's s serious disease. My sister has cancer and they're more focused on her. I'm like " hey what about me? " I also want to ask you all a personal question concerning sex drive. I have none- ziltch. I haven't for 3 years. None. I am single and don't date. I have no desire. I'm 49. Does Hep C cause this? It left me way before I started tx. I feel like an oddball. Hang in there , we're here for you,
Guest guest
Greets, { I am having major problems with being VERY irritable... } I think that my irritableness goes beyond normal, as well. But, I'm not sure it was the treatment that caused it because I'm going on 8 months past treatment and I'm still quite irritable. It doesn't take much to set me off into a tailspin it seems. Sometimes, if my kitty wants affection and I'm not in the mood, watch out kitty... *shrugs* I suppose I'll work on solving that one when I get all the other issues resolved. The doctor told me just the other day that most of my body aches and ailments are from being over weight... I have a good 20-25 pounds to lose that my body isn't accustomed to having... grrrr... he said because I've been thin all my life, that I'm not doing good with excess weight all of a sudden. *ponders* He's prolly right, but who likes to admit they are out of shape... poopoo ! Guest guest
Thanks , Even if it does not get published someone reads it and that's one more person closer to the truth. I went and looked but there was nothing there yet. Go here www.billingsgazette.com and then click on " Opinions " which is at the top along the bar of links. After much letter writing I can give ideas on what I have done to get things printed. Make it short and to the point, try to avoid getting emotional and just stick to the facts. Go into personal experiences to make it real and follow all the rules to get it printed. It's actually fun to write a letter and get it published and people do read them. I know I do. There is a letter policy: Letter policy Letters to the editor must contain the signature of the author, the writer's street address and work and/or home phone numbers. Maximum length is 250 words. The Gazette reserves the right to edit letters for clarity, conciseness, taste, and to prevent libel. Signed editorial columns appearing on the Opinion page and letters appearing in the Voice of the Reader columns do not necessarily reflect the viewpoint of the Billings Gazette. Send your letters By mail to: P.O. Box 36300 Billings, MT 59107-6300 By fax to: (406) 657-1208 Or by e-mail to: speakup@ billingsgazette.com Sent my letter. Guest guest
Hi My name is ...I was not trying to be sneaky or insulting this wed site,,,I did not realize I was on any one particular DOCTORS website..I am new to all this and it was an honest slip. I was just trying to help a young woman make a wise disjoin and that there are many options out there. So don't take it so personal...it was an accident I send it...but everyone deserves to know all the facts. Are we not helping everyone on this site to better them self by our experiences? Guest guest
Hey , I am glad you came to this site. Dr Aceves is a wonderful Dr. The hospital in Mexicali was clean and well staffed. If I had the money to have surgery in the states I still would have had Dr Aceves do it. He had way more experience than most U.S. Dr.'s and was trained by the FDA approved Lap Band company Inamed. He is honestly one of the most competent, caring Dr.'s I have ever been treated by. My husband accompanied me on the trip and was impressed as well. The cost covers the surgery and hospital stay. I am sure you will be able to find a Dr in your area to do the fills so you won't have to travel to Mexico each time. Regarding how many fills will you need- everyone is different. I have talked to people that have had a total of 3 and others that have needed more. A woman I know had 1 and lost all her weight. I hope I am that lucky. I am looking forward to having my first fill on September 2nd. I was banded about 3 1/2 weeks ago and I am down 17 lbs. I hope I have answered some of your questions. Read some of the old posts and I am sure you will learn a lot. If you have anymore questions please let me know. Everyone on this site is VERY supportive and if I can't answer your questions there are many who can. Good luck with your decision! help!!! I have recently decided to have this surgery and I am looking for a doctor. I found Dr.Aceves website online. My insurance will not cover the surgery, so I need to find a cheaper way of getting it done. My mom is really concerned about me going to mexico to have this done. She is worried that something will go wrong. If there is anyone out there that has any advice or experience with going to mexico please let me know how it went and your opinions on the matter. I am currently saving up money for the surgery. But may have to try to get financed for the rest of the cost. My credit is not so good because of my ex husband. How easy is it to get financed for the surgery? I am a teacher and have a steady income so that is not the problem.I was sent a cost from Dr. Aceves office. I think it covers fills. But does it cover the cost of air fare to get the fills? If not, then how much does it cost to fly to mexico from FLorida. Also, when and how many fills does one get?I know I have so many more questions for everyone but i'll save those for later. Thanks
Guest guest
Hey , I think it is kind of tacky that another Dr had to slip in his advertisement on Dr Aceves's site. We on this site are very dedicated to Dr Aceves because he has treated us all so well. I think the moderator should delete this message. Goes to show, some are desperate for the business. I think Dr Aceves stands on his own reputation. Again, take care and if you have any questions please let me now. Yu can also email me at jugross@... Take Care, Washington State Re: help!!! Guest guest
Hi , I can help you out with the flight cost..... I'm having my surgery next Wed and I'm flying out of Orlando. The cost was $253 round trip with a stop over in Atlanta and then on to San Diego where I will be picked up by the driver and driven to Mexicali. Even though the cost to fly there is minimal, I've decided to try to get my fills locally. Hope this helps. Debby
