If stevia sweetened things don't seem to bother the candida, might it still be causing insulin response? Could this cause insulin resistance? +++Hi , Yes, it is wise not to feed your sweet tooth, even with stevia, if you have a problem resisting sweets. All carbs (plant foods) change into sugar in the body which feeds candida and stimulates insulin production, but it is impractical to eliminate all carbs including vegetables. That's why this program is low-carb, moderate protein and high good fats. This program reverses insulin resistance and changes the body over from running on glucose to running on good fats. The protein, fat and carbs ratios on my program are the same ratios recommended by Dr. Jan Kwasniewski, in Poland, for his Optimal Diet, who has been curing heart disease, diabetes, asthma, obesity, cancer, etc. for over 30 years: http://homodiet.netfirms.com/ All the best, Bee
