Guest guest
I noticed somewhere in the files that sprouts are allowed. Is quinoa considered a sprout once it has been properly sprouted, and therefore allowed? If it is not allowed, why? Is there anything that is allowed if properly sprouted that is not listed on the allowed foods list? I apologize for all the detailed questions! I'm one who likes to understand everything when I plunge into something. By the way we are coming from GAPS and are a little over a week into this program. We are having lots of healing reactions, but so far so good! My stomach is doing GREAT. And my oldest dd's stomach hasnt been hugely bloated like it usually is. My kids, however, cannot have a bowel movement. We had to do an enema which they HATE. And they refuse to drink vit. c powder or magnesium in water. Literally its hours of screaming to try. So we're not sure what to do! We give them camu powder for vit. c on a bite of food but its not making thier bowels move. (I know its not on the list but the package says 0 grams of sugar so I figured it was worth a shot if it got the vit. c in them and got them pooping finally.) Anyway, I'd love to find out about the sprout issue. Thanks! Janelle
