Guest guest
Hi Reen, I hope to help by giving you some cost cutting ideas. I've gotten my epsom salts from the dollar store ever since I saw it at the pharmacy for nearly $8. If you are trying to avoid taking a shower with chlorinated tap water, try this. Fill a 5 gallon bucket with just hot tap water. You'll notice there is less chlorine smell in it. Take a margerine or cottage cheese container and pour the water over yourself to get wet. Soap up the 'dirty spots'. Rub your body, arms and legs with a soft natural fiber brush and rinse. This is the way they wash in eastern countries. I find Bee's baking soda water and paste great to wash my hair with. Maybe it would be good to wash the body too. Use 2 teaspoons of baking soda mixed with hot water to make a paste. Rub it on your 'dirty spots' then rinse. Lemon juice and vinegar are good for hair rinses and for under the arms for odor. The Vinegar may be left in your hair or rinsed off as you like it. Do not leave lemon juice on your skin if your going out in the sunshine. Rinse off after using.
