Guest guest
Hi Taryn, > THIS kind of thing is what confuses me.... I KNOW I've CAUGHT > things from people in the past, colds, flus and what not. It seems > obvious to me that you can CATCH something someone. ESPECIALLY cold > sores, those things are super contagious in my opinion, I've SEEN > them spread from person to person... This is all so confusing to me STILL. ****Did you see all the links that Ed and others have been posting this week on this subject? I know it's hard to read an awful lot when you are tired and overwhelmed with just doing this diet/program and handling the rest of your life. The simple answer, for me, is that when an 'epidemic' or 'outbreak' of some illness takes place, does *everybody* get it? NO, there is always the one (or more) that do not (and the press doesn't talk about *those*)... in my understanding, those are the ones who were healthy enough in their 'immune system' (healthy overall) who did not " catch " the so called germ. In truth, those same germs are everywhere, and no doubt in the bodies of the few who stay well -- but they coexist there in a friendly manner, because they do not find 'fertile ground' to overgrow -- fertile ground is what I mean by an unhealthy environment -- a body that is " ripe for " an infection because it is way out of balance and already ill, even if obvious symptoms don't show yet. So it would be a good idea not to hang around ill people (flus, colds, etc.) while you are detoxifying and healing yourself. You may just get sick too, but you don't " catch " the thing from those people! I hope I made it clear. It's darned simple, when you think about it that way. Ed and others, please let me know if I missed something and oversimplified it or what I said is actually wrong in some fundamental way. Thanks!
