Guest guest
i want to ask this question because it will ease my mind....i have a longstanding history with candida, and my main symptom is chronic vaginitis. use of prescription antifungals, including diflucan and nizoral, used to help keep it under control. however, during my current bout of symptoms, these drugs are having no effect. i do know that i have had cultures showing rare yeasts (candida glabrata), which i know are inherently less sensitive to these drugs. my question is, do any of you know you have a candida problem that does not respond to azole drugs at all? have you been helped by bee's protocol or other protocols even when drugs have not helped you? a doctor yesterday told me that if i did not feel better after a month of nizoral, then my problem was most likely not yeast, and now i am very nervous. thanks, julie
