Guest guest
Nan, thanks for your support. The bloodwork came out OK, except all 3 kinds of cholesterol were high. Doctor did not advise any meds. I did not discuss high fats, and DH has dropped the issue, for the time being. I understand DH doesn't want me to hurt myself. He doesn't read anything I suggest, though, so he's going by what other people say about saturated fats. Yes, he certainly does not want to be on Bee's plan. After I pointed out again and again the improvements I had seen, he finally acknowledged that I felt the program was helping me. So it was understandable to him that I would not want to give it up. I do feel it's my decision whether to stay on the program or not, but I don't want to defy him either. I think the whole issue is calmed down for now. In the meantime, I'm going to do some background reading on saturated fats so I can support my position better! H. > > Now, as for your DH. What is he trying to accomplish? Does he really prefer you wolfing down pizza and beer? Or nibbling potatoe chips and bon bons? > > When you say, " He is getting other people to put pressure on me to follow the medical establishment's dogma. " Maybe the real psychology here is, he doesn't want to follow Bee's diet. > Sending you ::::warm vibes:::: that you find the strength to decide for yourself. It's your body. > > Nan B. > Moderator
