If you found recipes here using flour or potatoes it is a mistake. I just

reviewed the Optimal Diet. The only mention of flour or potatoes says not to eat

them.

+++Hi Debbie,

The website for the Optimal Diet is not by Dr. Jan K. It is set up by someone

else who translates his Polish book into English, so I wouldn't rely on it.

I was on their forum for a long time, and found there were many

mis-interpretations of Dr. K's book and recommendations. One person would

translate something one way, and another person another way.

It is most important to keep your carbs low and those carbs must be the right

" kinds of carbs. "

The best book on losing weight is Good Calories, Bad Calories by Taubes

that you can buy at most bookstores; here in Canada it was only $20.00 at

Chapters.

Thank you, Bee. I have looked at that several times and wondered

about the 'sponge bread' (with flour) and several meals said potatoes.

That now makes sense.

Thanks for clearing it up.
