Guest guest
Yes, mine has a pre-filter. It is listed as one of the best on the market. ew Re: Water Filters Date: Fri, 24 Jul 2009 12:21:35 -0700 (PDT) Ernest, one more thing is that if there isn't a high quality pre filter then the RO unit gets clogged much quicker. We have a water test kit, the one test is a precipitation test, it pulls together the solids in water so one can see what is there. We have tested, for ourselves, water that claimed to be distilled and water that claimed to have been through RO and there had been lots of solids, still present. We test our RO water and it is pure. I highly recommend a test kit. Regards, Adrienne > > > I need to replace my filter and would like one a > little more effective than my Pur. Guest guest
Can somebody recommend some good water filters? I'm currently using Pur but it doesn't remove chlorine or fluoride. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Tom

Since you get very little fluoride from other sources, i.e. toothpaste, foods made with water like soup or drinks, etc. on this program, do not be concerned about the small amount of fluoride in water. On this program any toxins like fluoride are easily removed. It is much more important to get the natural minerals in tap water since adding or taking any processed minerals can't possibly duplicate Mother Nature's minerals. PUR filter is fine to use - see this report on what is filtered out of tap water: http://store.purwaterfilter.com/pitdissysnsf.html Britta is also a good charcoal filter. Guest guest
Hi , I am still selling the pitchers and filters, and will be at the Warehouse this Saturday AM until 12. Let me know off-list if you're interested. I can also give you a phone number to call to order. love and gratitude, Barb Bredesen ________________________________ From: towlesmith <towlesmith@...> Sent: Wed, September 29, 2010 3:53:43 PM Subject: Water filters Hey friends - I am in need of one of the blue/white water filters that used to sell at the Warehouse. I just can't think of the name. I purchased it with a blue pitcher, that has since broken. We are in an apartment and this seems to be the best filter I could find. Any chance they're available online? or does anyone else have a suggestion for a different/equally good brand? thanks!
