Hello. I've been on the diet for 3 weeks 1 day so far. I've been having diarrhea

or something close to it for almost the entire 3 weeks. I've done low carb diets

before without this reaction so I figure it's got to be one of the supplements.

These are the supps I'm taking so far:

CLO-fermented Green Pastures

Butter Oil

Vitamin C- 500 mg

Calcium- 600 mg

Magnesium- 600 mg

Vitamin E- 400 IU

Coconut oil- 2 Tablespoons

I cut out the coconut oil for 2 days, and I still had diarrhea so I don't think

it's the coconut oil. I was thinking maybe the magnesium, but if I go off

calc/mag I'll get leg cramps. I tried going off of it for 1 day, and the next

day my calf was hurting. I'm soooooo tired of having diarrhea, and a gurgling

tummy. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be? Thanks for any info.

I've also had diarrhea....had it for a couple of months when I initially started

and then, it stopped for awhile. Now I have it again....just recently in the

last couple of weeks. But no problem really. Not pleasant but I know it's my

body detoxing and it's not painful so I'm ok with it. I also have the rumbling

tummy from time to time.

Hang in there....it will stop eventually.

Hi ,

As wrote, diarrhea or loose stools is one way for your body to detoxify

so it's best not to alter your supplements to try to make it stop.

I've had loose stools for almost the entire time I've been on Bee's program,

which is 2.5 years. I feel better after a bowel movement - like a release of

toxins - so I see it as a good sign. I haven't suffered any ill effects from

the loose stools, only improvement.

Hang in there!

Hi ,

I'm experiencing the loose stools too. My gut is rumbling and bloated (or maybe

I'm gaining weight). I think it's from the magnesium too because I've never

ever had diarrhea like this before and magnesium is definately a new substance

I'm taking.

Actually all the supplements are new...vit. C, niacin, nutrional yeast, etc..

I go 10 times a day. This doesn't seem healthy at all especially because the

stools look like they're little ropes instead of a formed solid stool.

I could relate to what your going through. My stools are also extremely loose

and come out like little threads or ropes. Something that helped me was reducing

my vitamin c intake. I reduced it from 4g a day to 2g, and my stools are normal.

You could try doing that and slowly increase it.

, Bee does say that you should take up to 4g per day - or to bowel

tolerance. As soon as you start to get loose stools you should knock back to the

previous level of tablets.

Vitamin C is renowned for that in larger doses. Magnesium Oxide will cause D

because it is not readily absorbed by the body and goes straight through drawing

water with it as it goes. But the Magnesium Citrate is far better absorbed and

should not cause any bowel issues at all.
