WHat is the best thing to do, I assume once we are stronger we can add more foods. +++Hi , Have you calculated how long healing will take for you, from when you first had health issues, i.e. as a baby or child ? It takes 1 month of natural healing for every year you've been unhealthy, and for most people today that is since before they were born because they acquired poor " nutritional status " from their parents upon conception. If you have, and you are sure you are healed completely, then dairy is good to start with since it contains protein, minerals, etc. If you add dairy you will need to lower your calcium too. I can have dairy and only need 250 mg daily instead of 600 mg, along with 450 magnesium. Higher butterfat dairy is better for you, preferably raw and unpasteurized, if you can get it. That is because the higher the butterfat content the lower the lactose, and also because butterfat helps our bodies digest lactose and proteins in dairy. I suggest starting with cream (10% butterfat or higher), not milk since it is higher in lactose. You could try yogurt too but there aren't any commercial kinds that contain enough butterfat and are free-of sugars, etc. You can make your own yogurt using cream - here's the recipe: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/recipes/recipe204.php You could try hard cheese, like mild-medium cheddar that isn't colored. I can buy raw unpasteurized cheese here in Canada, which is from a company in Quebec. All the best, Bee
