Guest guest
Hi! My name is Missy and I just found this group. I have suffered from headaches for about 20 years ( I am 42). I have had sinus and TMJ surgery and neither of those seemed to solve my chronic headaches. Some days my headaches are REALLY bad, some days they are tolerable. Also, about 4 years ago, I literally woke up with a burning sensation in my throat. Its up high, and after going thru a couple of endoscopies and lots of acid reflux meds, its pretty much been determined that its NOT acid reflux. I have this burning ALL the time. Some times its worse then other times, but its always there. I havent really been able to truly determine what causes it to get worse, but its been quite frustrating. I also am on prescription sleeping pills, for I pretty much woke up one day with insomnia. I get dizzy alot, and just feel " out of it " alot. I started to really wonder what in the world is going on with me, this getting older stuff sure stinks! ;-) I lost my job earlier this year, and have no money to go to any more doctors, nor do I want to, for they have yet to help me so far. So, I started researching candida, and really wonder if this is what is going on with me? I have definitely been on my share of antibiotics thru my entire life. I also am on birth control pills, have been since I was 20. Is there a way I can diagnose this on my own, and is it a true diagnosis? SOme people say this is just a scam, I dont know what to think? Have any of you had chronic headaches, and/or burning throat, or anything else I mentioned? If so, what did you do to get better? I dont even really know where to begin, but I Am praying that maybe this is finally the answer that may help me start feeling better! Any thoughts , suggestions, advice, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much! :-) Missy
