I'm really new to the message area and haven't quite gotten the hang of

finding information on here, just need to spend more time navigating. But, in

the intrest of finding some answers...

I have been on the diet and am taking cod liver oil and using coconut oil

for the past 2+ months. Yeah for some issues clearing up! However, I am (not to

mention my hubby!) really wondering if over time my sex drive will return. I

don't know where or when it abandoned ship, but, needless to say,it is really

causing an issue in our marriage. Hard to pursue someone when the hormones

aren't there to begin with.

If anyone can candidly speak into this I would be incredibly greatful. I'm

feeling like anything but a good wife in that regard and really want to know if

others have seen changes from being on this diet.

Thanks a bunch, Really!!!

Hi, I was doing some research on niacin that flushes, and a site came up in that

niacin helps that-and they were selling bottles of it about 30 mg for 60,00 a

bottle. It is known to open blood vessels. Are you on 50 mg twice a day?

C.

+++Hi there. Welcome to our group. What is your name please?

First, toxins cause all of the body's cell membranes to become rigid/stiff so

that nutrients, hormones, and even water are not as able to get into them to do

their job.

Toxins also create abnormal hormone responses in the body. Hormones regulate

your various body functions by traveling through the bloodstream to vital areas

of the body. However toxins interfere with that process since organs and systems

throughout the body that are involved with producing and distributing hormones

are not as able to work like they should because their cells are rigid/stiff.

Any hormones produced enter the bloodstream, but they have trouble getting into

rigid/stiff cells where they are needed.

For example hormones made by the thyroid will have trouble penetrating stiff

cell membranes. Since thyroid hormones regulate metabolism, the result is slow

metabolism, low body temperature, fatigue, and intolerance to cold.

Unfortunately, laboratory tests camnot diagnose hormone problems, because tests

only measure the level of hormones in vein blood. Vein blood is " after " the

cells have taken hormones, nutrients, oxygen, etc. they are able to use or need.

Also vein blood contains waste products dumped by cells into the veins.

Vein blood travels to all of organs or systems that get rid of toxins. For

example it travels to the lungs so we breath out carbon dioxide. Other major

organs that get rid of toxins are the kidneys and the liver. Therefore blood

tests cannot reflect what is going on at a cellular level.

Hormones such as estrogen, progesterone and testosterone also have difficulty

getting into the cells: For women this results in pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS),

hot flashes, headaches, night sweats, increased irritability, depression, and

vaginal dryness. It can also interfere with the normal feedback mechanisms of

the hypothalamus and pituitary (hormone regulating organs in the head) causing

an imbalance in natural menstruation cycles and also less sex drive (called

lowered libido). More often than not, ovulation may not occur at all.

Men experience decreased sex drive, poor erections, lowered sperm count and

reduced fertility, and even increased breast size. Men also may have symptoms

similar to those seen during menopause in women — hot flashes, increased

irritability, inability to concentrate, and depression.

In order for cell membranes to be healthy they must be constructed out of 50%

saturated fats, i.e. unrefined coconut oil, butter, lard, etc., (lung cell

membranes need 100% saturated fat).

Also the good combination of fats I recommend all work together which the body

requires in order to produce proper hormones, which includes saturated fats, cod

liver oil (contains omega 3, and vitamin A & D), vitamin E - of course all

nutrients work together and that is why this is an overall healthy program that

improves anyone's health.
