developed minor symptoms: redness, slight swelling of the hand, and pain.

+++Hi Anne. Baking soda is the first thing necessary in a first aid kit. It

helps with all insect bites, skin issues/rashes, and can be used for many other

things, i.e. baths to assist detoxification, an upset stomach, for ear and eye

rinses, etc.

+++Other things for a first aid kit are:

-3% hydrogen peroxide

-White Willow Bark for pain

-castor oil and flannel for many helpful treatments

-unrefined coconut oil

-extra virgin olive oil

> So far, I can only think of coconut oil (for cuts, rashes) and oil of oregano

(burns, insect bites).

halt the body's elimination of toxins. I'm assuming some oils are safe to use

as natural treatments without interfering with healing. I was only able to find

two articles on essential oils (one on the definition, and one on clove oil).

+++I think using too much essential oil of any kind, or too often, can interfere

with natural detoxification. Those treatments should only be used to " assist, "

like oil of oregano or clove oil used for pain, for short periods of time.
