Chicken Bones

Recently, I have been eating the ends of chicken thigh bones cooked in water in

order to get at the marrow. There must be some elements that my body craves

from this exercise most likely Calcium and Magnesium and Phosphates. When

soaked, the ends of the thigh bones can be chewed off quite easily and munched

on like a treat it seems (perhaps dogs do this too?).

I am wondering however if you would recommend against this delicious treat. Is

it possible that some bones may be sharp and scrape intestinal walls. Although

I take 5 Betaine Hydrochlorides with each meal, perhaps tiny bone shards may

still remain undigested? I don't know, does this sound plausible?

+++Hi ,

Please remember that you can Search using any word on my website. If you

searched for bone marrow you would get a number of articles that discuss it, but

the first two are these:
