Guest guest
Thank you for writing this, Bee. I need to do more research on it, but, in the meantime, I want to share that my DS lost a filling a while ago. I'd hoped, that by cutting out the sugar in his diet, his tooth would heal itself as mine have done. But he says the decay is worse so we have to call the dentist. Do I read you to say that, if a root canal is recommended by the dentist, it would be better to have the tooth pulled and put a bridge in instead (of the root canal)? Thanks. We wouldn't know what you are responding to with that question, unless you leave enough of the previous message along with your question. In other words, you trimmed your message too much. : ) All the best, Bee
Guest guest
Hi Bee, I've been reading all that has been written about root canals because I have one on my upper right side. It use to irritate me, but after being on the diet for 6 months I've had no problems. Should I not worry about taking it out? Will the area around and above the root canal heal completely as long as I stay on this heaing program. I would greatly appreciate your imput on this. Thank you, Angie

Guest guest
Hi I'm new to this group. I've been doing GAPS intro for the last three weeks, but this diet interests me also. I've had a dull ache with my root canal tooth (upper left, next to front tooth). I'm wondering if I were to do this diet and the achiness went away if I would be in the clear. My dentist says the root canal is fine. Thanks! > > > > Hi Bee, I've been reading all that has been written about root canals because I have one on my upper right side. My dentist says the root canal is fine. +++Hi , Welcome to our group. Many people come here from GAPS since it does not help them like this program does. There are many good reasons why, which you will understand after reading my articles. No matter what your dentist says, root canals are intrusive, like a constant irritation, similar to transplanted organs or getting a wood sliver in the skin. In response to them your body will constantly be trying to get rid of it, by creating inflammation and even infection which are natural healing processes - see this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/nature3.php Dr. Weston A. Price wrote a lot about the dangers of root canals because his own son died because it. So the best treatment is to get the root canal removed, and replace it with something less invasive like a bridge or partial plate. If you are on GAPS you must have other health issues than just the problem with your root canal. See these Primary Causes of All Failing Health: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/health2.php That's why this is an overall healing program that GAPS does not accomplish. If you want to know more read about my health programs. Guest guest
Thanks for the links. I am starting your diet. Just got the supplements yesterday and am currently incorporating the first few steps. I've learned a lot already through NT and GAPS. I recently started getting raw milk delivered to my home, which I'll have to cancel Anyway, I hesitate to get a front tooth pulled, but may end up going that route eventually. Thanks for the encouragement toward better health. > > > > Hi I'm new to this group. I've been doing GAPS intro for the last three weeks, but this diet interests me also.
