Hi all

Not posted in a long time.

I wondered has anyone consider lufenuron. It is mentioned on DrMyhills website

as an alternative treatment. I ask because all I have am been offered in terms

of prescription antifungals is a weeks course of nystatin oral and 3 days of

diflucan. After having my liver pickled with a quinolone antibiotic I am loath

to try anything else that bad for my liver.

I have been on a low carb diet and supplemented with natural antifungals(garlic

and coconut oil.

The lufenuron is being marketed by a chemistry Ph.D. and a nutritionist as a

halfway house between natural and chemical and liver safe.

For what its worth I tried the threelac and saw no improvement but rather a

worsening of buzzing and tingling.

Finding anyone who is yeast savy is proving to be a nightmare, i got offered

omperazole for the yeast from one GP.

The nystain was from a dentist who knows of systemic yeast and the pain and

misery it causes

@@ Hi Bob,

Lufenuron antifungal, is actually a pharmacy medicine for dogs that kills fleas

and also fungus. This has been mentioned and addressed on the group in the

past. Save your money, this is not advised nor necessary.

Most antifungals on the market are hard on the liver in varying degrees except

perhaps Nystatin. Diflucan in particular is hard & toxic to the liver. Thus,

Nystatin is not necessary and Diflucan is not advised. Read on , more will

become clear why !

Omeprazole is part of a class of drugs known as proton pump inhibitors. It is

used to decrease stomach acid, which you don't want to do, usually. This is NOT

an antifungal by any means. And a GP prescribed this? Oh boy ! Shameful, just

shameful ...

Anyway, Bob, I and many here, sympathize with your ordeal with doctors,

nutritionists and whatnot doling out misinformation and trying to make a dollar

at the expense of the individual's suffering.

Some mean well, but that still does not help the person in question.

Most conventional medications i.e antibiotics, antifungals, antiacids

..... etc will only make the Candida issue worse rather than better. Thus the

person will suffer more and longer unnecessarily. Moreover they address the

symptoms not the cause. This is why none of the above is advised.

Bob, Antifungals are very unimportant, except for unrefined coconut oil Bee

recommends, since Candida is not cured by " killing it off. " It just doesn't work

that way.

Candida is only cured by building up the immune system, which is done by:

1) Consuming " proper nutrients " (diet plus supplements),

2) Eliminating toxins and foods that feed candida (they also feed bacteria and

cancer),

3) Eliminating damaging foods, and

4) Eliminating toxins in general.

Please ensure you read two important articles, so you understand candida, and

know what you need to do and why:

2) Curing Candida, How to Get Started

Hi all

I want to share my experiences and hopefully help others.

I would also like some advice on trying to persuade my wife and kids that the

lifestyle we are choosing is going on a one way spiral downwards in terms of

health.

Call me weak but I did try the lufenuron after being prescribed nystatin

The nystain caused a violent reaction , tightness of the chest and burning hands

and feet but the The thrush returned worse than ever.

The lufenuron that i purchased on the contrary had no reaction at all. This was

not a pet prescription rather a drug advertised through a search on google as

lufenuron and off a website.

I dont want to do the people down who sold it but I became suspicious that I had

no reaction and I have all the symptoms of yeast infection.

Maybe someone could clarify this as the seller assures me i do not have candida

because the lufenuron would have cleared it up ????

The person also went on to suggest that candida does not give rise violent

migraine headaches.

Persistent purities, itching round the anus and extremities, prostatitis, visual

distortions, cystitis and the other 50 odd symptoms cannot be attributed to

candida it must be something else!!!!

I have tried threelac and its made it worse.

I did a liver flush at the weekend and ended up passing out after going to the

toilet in the night and smashing my head on the bath.

The sudden release of toxins nearly killed me!

It took some time to come to the realisation that unless i do something and soon

i will end up in a pine box for sure.

I want to thank people in advance and will from now on take an active roll in

this self help group and own health.

I can personally vouch it is most dangerous to take short cuts and could kill

you

Best to all

@@ Snip

@@ Hi Bob,

Hehehe ..... Lufenuron is definitely used for treating dogs & cats, here give it

a look. I list 3 links, just for kicks :) Which I see you listed one of these

yourself. :))

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lufenuron

http://www.petsdoc.com/html/askthevet/askthevetquestions/lufenuron.html

http://www.veterinarypartner.com/Content.plx?P=A & C=31 & A=641 & S=0

Seems everybody is trying to make a buck selling overnight cures. Nonetheless,

it took you awhile to get to the state of Candida, therefore it will take awhile

for you to heal it. And no antifungal, cleanse ....etc is going to correct the

Candida issue. That is not how it works.

Nonetheless, Candida is not killed off. You cannot kill Candida no more than

your finger in that manner. Since Candida is part of you and always has been.

Candida normally is in its friendly beneficial state. However, once the body

accumulates a certain high level of toxins, the Candida changes to its

aggressive form to address the level of toxins reached. If the person starts

giving the body the nutrients and incorporates a healthy lifestyle, consistently

long enough, the Candida changes back to its friendly original form.

Anyway, thank you for sharing your experiences and being a guinea pig ... lol

Honestly, though, I'm glad you learned a lot, but mostly glad you are not harmed

seriously long term or worse!!!

Bob, lastly, to eat a Standard American Diet leads to disease, low quality and

shorten average lifespan, averagely speaking. Thus, that downward spiral

experienced by many.

Here, better than me explaining or convincing you or your family , here are some

videos for you and/or family to review at your leisure. I uploaded some of these

awhile back to help those whom don't have time to do the research.

They are quite informative, perhaps entertaining at times and should answer a

lot of questions ;]
