Guest guest
Ever since I was 16 I have been wondering about a yeast symptom of mine. It seemed that periodically when I would expectorate (typically after a soda pop) their might be some hardened beige pellets (1-4 mm diameter) (smelled a bit like brewers yeast) that came up at the same time. I remember taking antibiotics around this time (for about 4 weeks) and not knowing that I should have to take acidophilus at the same time. I now believe (25 years later) that these pellets are likely a yeast symptom but I have not seen this symptom posted on the website and so don't know how common this is. I would tend to expectorate more of these pellets immediately after drinking a soda pop which made me think that it was killing what ever it was or making it break off from my gut(esophagus) lining or nasal passages if the soda pop (which contained a brominated compound) was slightly toxic to the yeast? But perhaps I was feeding it. Even though I am currently on a low carb diet, when I sometimes have too much cooked brocolli or endive I tend to get a yellowish tongue the next morning that I brush off with my toothbrush the next day. I sometimes still have very small pellets as well. Is this another symptom of yeast or could this be toxins being released? I ask cause I don't know whether these symptoms are commensurate with a yeast infection at all for sure?
