Guest guest
Hi Gail, You're most welcome. I can't remember exactly when I started gaining weight again - as , another moderator, says, it's gotten kind of difficult to remember how sick I was! In any event, I'm not sure that the number of months I lost weight before I started regaining it would be a good benchmark for you, since we all come from different levels of dis-ease and some of us have been sick for longer than others. You can rest assured, however, if you follow this program and avoid any extra treatments not recommended, that your body is doing everything for a very good reason, and it will bring back a more curvy figure in due time! Just for your reference, I'm about 5-10 and I went down to about 122 pounds. Thankfully a lot of the weight loss occurred during the cooler part of the year, so most people didn't notice it until the summer, when I started wearing shorts. Absolutely this program helps heal the endocrine system, and absolutely fat is key. I used to have all sorts of problems with my period, which have all disappeared. It's remarkable. You might not notice the progress while you're in the thick of it, but a few months down the road you will be amazed by how far you've come. Be well, andra group moderator > > andra, > > Thanks so much for the encouragement....I really need it and appreciate it. May I ask how many months you were on the program before you started gaining your weight back? I'm 5'7 " and now weigh > 117. before I got sick I weighed 135lbs with a " C " cup....Thank goodness I wear make-up otherwise I might get mistaken for a boy...;-) I'm confused though..this diet includes alot of fat although it does not make you have much fat on your body. I also know this program is suppose to heal the thyroid and adrenals....so I would imagine it heals the whole endocrine system. The endocrine system produces sex hormones and hormones need fat to work properly. So maybe that is the answer...anyway...thanks again andra for the support...(no pun intended...;-) ) Have a good evening....! Gail >
