Guest guest
Hello again, it's Gail the one with the Quinoa question before. And thank you, I think I have figured out it's not worth cutting the meat and supplementing with it. I have kept my nose on your site and in my book Life Without Bread, and will continue my meat consumption. I just have to figure out how my heart will handle it. I am a huge animal lover, and it's hard for me to eat them, knowing they were slaughtered. Anyway, I want Bee's recommendation on how many eggs can we eat in one day on average. I have them every morning, and many times for lunch. I have been taking some of the yokes out and only let my husband have one yoke a day, but after all of this reading the last week, understand competely how much good is in the yokes. So how many yokes a day is ok, if I only eat meat a little at lunch and then at dinner. I eat my eggs every morning with Elk. I eat Elk, Bison, and salmon. I would say I average 1/4 meat a day. Sorry I don't know how many grams. Also eat my coconut oil, at least 2 tablespoons and butter too. I have been on the diet for 2 years and am stable, but just want to know how many eggs yokes one can eat in a day. My total cholestrol is 380 and my doc is having a fit, but I told him my health was in my hands and i was comfortable with this. HOwever I do worry about the way i feed my husband. If I choose to do this to myself, ok, but am I endangering him. (that's a retorical question) I just want to know about the eggs. Thank you !!!! That's great you are putting your health above you animal lover heart my friend! I understand it is tough. > > Anyway, I want Bee's recommendation on how many eggs can we eat in one day on average. I have them every morning, and many times for lunch. +++You can have a unlimited number per day. Here's a man who consumed 25 soft-boiled eggs per day yet his cholesterol was low. Eggs are Nature's most perfect food. <snip> I eat Elk, Bison, and salmon. I would say I average 1/4 meat a day. +++What weight is 1/4 meat, i.e. in ounces or pounds? Sorry I don't know how many grams. Also eat my coconut oil, at least 2 tablespoons and butter too. I have been on the diet for 2 years and am stable, but just want to know how many eggs yokes one can eat in a day. +++To be on my diet you need to consume a minimum of 5.5 tablespoons of unrefined coconut oil per day, and your total fats should be high, according to your ratios calculated for protein, fat and carbs - use The Simple Calculator on the first article, and then follow the directions in my article Fitday.com - How to Use it: For Calculator: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foods8.php For Fitday directions: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foods9.php > > My total cholestrol is 380 and my doc is having a fit, but I told him my health was in my hands and i was comfortable with this. (that's a retorical question) +++When your body is detoxifying cholesterol will be higher anyway. Of course your husband wouldn't be endangered following this healthy diet since the Cholesterol Theory is totally false and high cholesterol does not cause heart disease or any other health problems - see " Cholesterol and Heart Disease - A Phony Issue: " http://www.westonaprice.org/know-your-fats/538-cholesterol-and-heart-disease-a-p\ hony-issue.html All the best, Bee

That's great you are putting your health above you animal lover heart my friend! I *** Bee, thank you. I know you don't remember all of us, but I have been on this diet for 2 years this month. I am soooo much better, and that is why I wanted to cut my meat down. I do eat approx 3/4 of meat per day, if not a little more. Also, I eat eggs every morning, and often have them for lunch. I was cutting down my egg yokes, but see HOW MUCH good is in them reading again about them here and my book " Life without Bread " . It scares me but I do crave them now. I remember you saying that you crave good fats, meat, etc, a long time ago and I thought I will NEVER crave this. It was very hard to change over. But now I understand, I crave my good food, fats and meat. And I love my eggs!! That is why I was wondering how many eggs in a day I could eat. I am thinking that I will subsititute the eggs for a meat meal like I am now, but continuing it. I do have a heart break for eating these animals. I just can't help it. But they have helped HEAL me, I can not go backward. I am down to 2 TABlespoons of coconut, I did the 6 for over a year. I will say my cholestrol DOES scare me and I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that all of you that I read are correct. I suppose I could still be detoxing, I was sick a very long time and understand the ratios you teach on how long it takes to get well. I continue to take all the supplements, and will. Also, the lemon water with sea salt. I basically do it all the same, but not the 6 tablespoons of coconut oil a day now. Just 2. sometimes more. I eat as much as I want actually. I did find out that even though my thyroid levels are in the normal bracket I am hyPO. No thryoid, RAI, so I am getting help with that from some good folks on thyroid sites, and I have just about memorized Stop the Thyroid Madness. Been at this thryoid thing now for 13 years. Bee, thank you for ALL you do, I know first hand running and moderating health sites like this is a thankless job. I have first hand experience there too. Blessings 2-fold to you all!!
