Guest guest
> > I have generally been eating more like 30grams of carbs a day and tons of butter/coconut oil/ghee and even cleaning my plate of the oils. I do eat some vegetables but generally none with fiber as it always seems to lock me up digestion wise. I was taking enzymes and have almost stopped but noticed the bloating came back really fast. As well as the gas.Previously when taking the enzymes I had been digesting red meats really well which was amazing as I hadn't done that in ages.I take 2 betaine caps usually with meals as perscribed by my naturopath. I have a hard time giving up the multivitamin as it contains sooo many things to help the body. Biotin, Gaba, zinc, chromium, selenium, copper, iodine, some more b vitamins and a huge list of other hard to get nutrients all generally chelated. The major downside is that it does contain enzymes. The multi does contain a high dose of vitamin A as well. Oregon-health.com is the site to see a list of ingredients. I take the betaine mid meal after the vegetables generally during the protein course and have been advised to take it at the beginning of the meal. I notice poorer digestion/bloating when I don't take the enzymes. I have read Bee's instructions on taking betaine and know you guys from on enzymes. I really don't want to lose the progress I have made in digestion lately. God bless. > @@ Hi Adam, You do not need Biotin, zinc, chromium, selenium, copper, iodine, some more B vitamins. Its not possible to squeeze large vitamin dosages and in a balanced manner in a multivitamin. This is why they are ineffective. Anyway, you get enough of all these Vitamins, Nutrients and more on this program. Taking more on top of the recommended supplements is going to imbalance your supplement dosages. And you are going to create yourself some possible added long term health problems, which you do not want. Adam, just follow the recommended supplements and the body will do its job. More is not better ! Take 1 capsule of Betaine HCL 30 to 45 minutes " After " you've eaten a complete meal which includes protein, fats and carbs. NOT mid meal. How to Take Betaine Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) Supplements , here, below. http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/dig5.php You need to give your body time to adjust to the program.
